ROLE SUMMARY
We are currently looking a Perl web developer on behalf of our client, to design, implement and support mobile and WAP applications to its customers. The Perl developer will need to work closely with the project managers, QA and customer's technical teams to set up and test shortcode based marketing campaigns across carriers in the US and Canada. This is a temp-perm (6 months) opportunity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
--Scoping and assessing effort for customized client applications --Working with the clients to architect custom solutions based on mms messaging platform capabilities --Supporting the mms web based messaging platform --Documenting the design of the application (sequence diagrams, UML diagrams, logic flow) --Development, unit testing and bug fixing --Source control management --Enhance existing applications to support client's business needs. This is server side development and will require strong programming skills with Perl. --Assist in troubleshooting and fixing production issues. This will require exceptional problem solving and communication skills. --Actively participate in design and code reviews for projects being worked on by other members of the team. This will require strong communication and interpersonal skills. --Document existing implementation and new applications
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate MUST have the following experience to be considered for this opportunity:
